National Public Radio broadcast a story about conservation detection dogs this week which, in part, featured a couple of the Obsidian Belgians. NPR science reporter Adam Cole first met me on a wet field where I was training Knife to find western pond turtle nests during December 2011. The photos for the NPR website were taken by Portland photographer, Rob Finch, while I was using Rogue to find turtle nests at the East Thornton Lake Natural Area.
